Hi, my name is Miranda, and I’m 44 years old. I’m tall and athletic with brown hair and big green eyes. My photo was the only one available and is five years old, but I’m not much worse for the wear (despite the prison food ;-). Maybe I’ll post a prison glam shot when I have one, LOL.

I was born and raised in the Portland area, and I love the beauty of the Northwest: hiking among the BIG trees, bare feet in the surf and the roar of the ocean while walking on the beach at the Oregon or Washington coast, the waterfalls along the Columbia River Gorge, camping and sitting around a fire on a chilly night, swimming, and road trips to nowhere in particular. I love good BBQ and exploring different cuisines. I have a heart for all animals, especially cats and dogs.

I’ve always enjoyed watching movies, everything from musicals to sci-fi, from Disney cartoons and The Sound of Music to The Departed, Goodfellas, and Pulp Fiction... and everything in between. I do a pretty good Sean Connery impersonation! I also love music and concerts and used to listen to oldies stations, the Beatles and Rolling Stones... and, of course, more contemporary music from Seattle grunge to current trends.

I do have a strong belief in a power greater than myself, and I plan to continue attending church and AA/NA meetings after I am released. I could see living on or near the coast as something I would enjoy. Being stuck here has been an opportunity to take a look at myself and make some adjustments.
